Sodium / Mercury / Metal Halide Cubes 6.5'x6.5' Sodium / Mercury / Metal Halide Cube
These units are great for interior or exterior locations. Sourcemaker can match all vapors to any desired bulb manufacturer. The cube shape is designed for aerodynamics. Pointing one corner directly into the wind forms a controlled path for even distribution on the 2 sides facing the wind (Kite-flying). Rounded surfaces provide indecisive wind paths, causing irratic movement. Cubes have 4 sides of skirting for easy control of ambience.
Sourcemaker was the first to create a balloon to match existing industrial light sources on the film, “Inside Man,” with a metal halide unit, and "The Brave One" with sodium vapor in 2005. Since then, Sourcemaker has matched these sources on many films and commercials. We are the leader in output and versatility with our new vapor mix units which can mix and match sodium, metal halide and mercury vapor. Recently Sourcemaker supplied a unit with a tungsten and mercury vapor mix for testing on “Transformers 2”. We have the ability to fly with your ideas.
